At its heart, Claic is about creating a more meaningful experience with leather, bringing together craftsmanship, personal storytelling, and thoughtful design to create pieces that become part of everyday life and stand the test of time.
Claic takes a thoughtful approach to reducing waste by giving leftover leather and hides a second life. The brand reuses offcuts and small-batch hides to create new pieces, such as the OS Tote, made entirely from leftover hides, and its one-of-a-kind Lait Clutches, which combine unique hides that would otherwise be difficult to reproduce.
The brand also keeps its production rooted in Nigeria, with locally sourced leather and production carried out by local artisans in Ogun State. Claic works with and trains young adults to develop skills and build sustainable careers in craftsmanship, while creating timeless, functional pieces designed to be used and kept for years rather than follow short-lived trends.
